Obviously get an up-to-date map of the area & call in air cover if we're on exposed ground.
Then, split up troops, sending in the elites to find a dry crossing & sneak up on enemy. However, I keep the conscripts with me by our side of the river as reserves.
Lastly, erect the MG slightly away from shore, set up arty & open fire in 3-volleys per round of attacks on enemy boats.

I will split my unit into three fire-teams, headed by a commissar each. Each has six infantry assigned to it.
The first fire-team will scout for the enemy. They will be under strict orders not to engage, to lull the enemy into a false sense of security. If found, they are to gain as much intelligence as possible regarding the advancing enemy.
The second fire-team will fortify the village along with engineers. The mines will be set in a simple order, trip mines in the entrance of the village to deny the enemy of motorcycles ASAP, AP mines positioned in chokepoints. Trenches, sandbags, defensive positions and the like would be set up in chokepoints. I'd use some villagers for this too.
The third will give the villagers a primer in using weapons.
When the enemy arrives, I'll take a page from Cowpens. First, the dispositions. One fire-team each for the western and northwestern approaches, with one as a reserve. The respective entrances will be guarded by villagers, ordered to shoot one volley and retreat.
They retreat, hopefully provoking an attack which would set off trip mines, destroying the enemy's mobility. Molotov cocktails should finish up the job if necessary. In the defense, fire-teams work to commit a defense in depth, delaying and inflicting casualties on the enemy, all the while setting off AP Mines.
Should the situation prove well, I would use the reserve fire-team as ambush forces when entering the center if the village, using flamethrowers and molotovs with the engineers and villagers. In the center, the enemy should be depleted enough to be repelled. Villagers would make a comeback in this last defense line, where distances are close, accuracy matters less, only numbers.

Split the engineers up. 2 to each armoured car & 2 to each shtrafnik. Engineers working on setting up the shtrafniks will later set up the 2 DShK. The machine guns will be set up in an alternating formation of Us & inverted Us. (Eg. 1st 3 set up like a U, then the next 3 IMMEDIATELY to its right is an inverted U). The 2 DShK will cover the flanks. The 5 commissars will take charge of the crew of 1 armoured car EACH. Each crew consists of 2 engineers, 1 comissar & 2 conscripts. Remaining 25 conscripts man 1 shtrafnik each. 25 partisans man remaining shtrafnik. Remaining 8 partisans & the 2 polkovniks will man 1 maxim gun each. The maxim guns are to be deployed in the parts of the line which sticks out in an inverted U shape. If unable to be deployed in all inverted Us, those on near the flanks of the line shall be deployed in alternating patterns of 1 inver ted U with a maxim gun & 1 "empty" inverted U. Worse comes to worse, 1 "filled" inverted U then 2 "empty" inverted Us. 3rd maxim gun from the left & right are manned by 1 polkovnik each. The polkovnik will coordinate the defensive efforts on their respective sides of the line (left & right). Anti-tank inf to be split into 4, remaining 2 to join the 2 center groups. Each group to take 1 sector of the line: Left, center-left, center-right, right. _______________________________________________ Lastly, the battle. Armoured cars to act as scouts & decoy, luring enemy into the line. Using familiar territory, they should lure the enemy to a close enough distance from the line that they can accelerate & go on a wide circling maneuver to hit the enemy rear. This results in the enemy being crushed between the armoured cars on the rear & the line. Lastly, if possible, contact Konev & inform him of necessary containment and reinforcement maneuvers. Here's a rough sketch:

Basically. Arty positioned in front of the fortress and wait until Germans cross the river then open fire as soon as they reach the other side. MGs would be slightly north of the village attacking the north German attack. Conscripts would be split in half, one half would move into the village and wait for the Germans. Other half would meet them head on as a distraction for the arty to open fire whilst they are stationary. Special forces would sneak across the southern part of the river and attack the enemy from behind. Here is a visual representation that I drew, (sorry if it is unclear. Turn brightness up to see better.)

Mission 4 Battle of Moscow
The fascist invaders are attacking our capital We should defend Moscow Victory or death!!!! the Germans are resting in a forest There's a hill in the southeast of that your troops are there but the Germans don't know anything Its calm before the storm!!! U should attack them like cossacks did in 1812 You have 30 ski troopers(with ppsh submachine guns and grenades) And 1 officer And 9 infantrymen

Ski troopers to go around the sides of the hill to hit the German Eastern front & their Southern flank. Inf & officers shall depart 1- 2 days earlier to hit the enemy Western rear. Infiltrate enemy camp if possible to attck from within.
The attack commences at midnight. Maximum amounts of chaos & explosions MUST be found otherwise the Germans may not fall for our trick.
The Germans should theoretically believe the large amount of chaos is caused by a pre-emptive "Red Army attack" which caught them surprised & off-guard. They panic & retreat.
If possible, officer enter's the HQ & radios in backup.

January 1st 1942....That's around the time of the Battles of the Rzhev salient.
My plan:
The D-20's are to concentrate on the sides (30 on one side, 20 on another). This intensive barrage would be followed by a charge concentrating on the bombarded flanks. However, one side is just a diversion. The artillery are then to fire on important targets such as anti tank, groups of infantry, fortification, etc throughout the entire battle once they have received info/intel. Everyone is to identify important targets, sizes, etc to each other.
On the diversion side, all soldiers (5 T-34, 30 Infantry) sent on that side are to use smoke grenades and smoke generators, hiding their advances. This side will get a lot more smoke grenades and smoke generators than the other side. We (diversion side) would use of camouflage and dummies to make it look as if there were a lot more troops than there actually was. The dummies, are straw dummies with camoflauge. Each soldier is supposed to carry one. At first, we would create a lot of smoke. With lots of smoke, some soldiers are to quickly carry their dummy, charge, and quickly make cover with shovels. With their makeshift cover, position the dummy in prone position. Now, fight. Hopefully the dummies can distract the enemies. Continuously use smoke, but sparingly. As for the tanks, before they rush into battle, some of the soldiers in this diversion are spotters, they are to find the antitank gunners once they have reached their makeshift cover. The spotters then would run back (while being covered by other troops) and report the positions of the anti tanks. The tanks, covered with sand bags on their armor are to move forward and take out as many anti tank gunners as they can (with help of infantry). After that, they are free to attack...if they make it through.
Now on the actual attack side, all shock troops, 40 assault troops, and 10 infantry (which are the spotters) led by 3 commissars attack while being supported by 15 T-34's. Of course, at first smoke is deployed. Then, the attack. During the attack. The spotters must again report the anti tankers. Tanks with the help of infantry must help fight against the anti tanker. Immediately after, all remaining commissars would lead a charge (which consists of the rest of the T-34's, infantry, all Red Guards, and assault troops). Of course, everyone in all these charges must have camouflage, if not, most of them. Then, the troops would sweep through.
If however the Germans move their forces on the real attack side, position 40 D-20's on the diversion side and fire. The remaining entire diversion force charge, killing as many as they can. This will force the Germans to defend that location. If not, continuously attack. Then, sweep to the real attacking side to assist. If they do turn their attention on the diversion, well keep fighting. The attacking side will be instructed to move quickly to help assist those on the distraction side.
That's my plan. PS Weren't D-20s after WW2?
My use of dummies may seem strange, but it was something that was done during WW2

Ok. So my plan is as follows:
The D20s will do a short but accurate barrage on German positions, (similar to the brusilov offensive) then shock troopers will make their insertion before the Germans can prepare and ready themselves. They will also enter even before the D20s have ceased fire. Shock troopers will make a general sweep of the area, followed by the wave of infantrymen to follow the same attack style. Once the infantrymen and shock troopers are gone, the assault infantry and commissars finally moves in, kill off any survivors and secure the trench. During the shock troop advance, the troopers will clear a path for the tanks by destroy all anti tank weapons and equipment. Red guard will defend the base in case the plan fails and we have to go to Plan C.
Plan B: Should the D20s fail to do enough damage or the shock troopers fail the attack, the infantry men, commissars and assault infantry will all go at once with the same style of entering before the D20 fire has ceased.
Plan C: if all else fails and all hope is lost, remaining forces will retreat and wait for reinforcements/ a German attack. If they counterattack, D20s will rain down fire on the German advance and whoever is left will hold the line as best they can.

My plan: Avoid the Rzhev Meat Grinder, jeez. After avoiding it, we will make OUR OWN Rzhev Meat Grinder! The T-34s will be stationed in the behind of everything, while the D-20s will be stationed in their normal positions. 12 D-20s will be firing at the trenches, hoping to force them to attack. 13 D-20s will be aimed at the No Man's Land. The last 25 will be aimed the first trench. A couple of Soviet soldiers will be on the 1st trench, for luring the Germans in. Once the charge happens, the troops will fall back to the second trench, as the 13 D-20s are firing on the Germans in the No Man's Land. Once the Germans reach the 1st trench, the last 25 D-20s will fire on them. Once they begin retreating, every D-20 will fire their remaining ammunition on the German first line, while everything will be thrown in.
