My current generals are Messe, Leeb, Guderian, Konev, Nagumo, and Rundstendt.
I have 1400 medals. Guderian is decently upgraded with max blitzkrieg along with explosive and plain fighting.
What should my next purchase be? Another general? Upgrade Konev and Guderian even more? I'd like Rommel but I'm stumped at his third mission.

What about air force General? Sad to say carriers are very useless in UN missions. They do too little damage enemy has high hp with maxed air Defence. If you need a airforce general tho for playing USA in conquest etc, I would get Yamamoto as he starts with 2 Air Force skills ( Air Force leader and carpet bombing) Many people used him as a hybrid) Though once you get dimitz and Nimitz, Yamamoto should stick to his role as a carrier general. It is what he do best and I believe he has no competition in doing that. |

As I remember You don't like Vatutin. Means the only real choice for You is Rokossovskiy Guderian, Rommel, Rokossovskiy and Vatutin are top non-IAP tank generals. |

I personally recommend Vatutin, but as you don't like him, Rommel could be decent. If Guderian's health ain't high, then use the medals to upgrade his rank.

IMO the best choice for next gen is Rommel. If you haven't unlocked him yet with 40% discount, unlocking will give you enough medals to buy him. Also you can sell Nagumo and buy Nimitz - that will cost you nothing (with 40% discount), but you will get better gen. Also you can sell Rundstedt and upgrade Konev a bit. You will get better inf gen for invasions (assuming there's no need to use inf gen in scenarios or conquests) and save some medals.

I would suggest indeed a second tank general.
I know some favour Vatu but I think Rommel and Roko has some good potential too (Rommel will be cheap and strong) Roko is in potential very strong but needs some tweaking).
Btw I could fix rommel 3th level only with good proper rumour percentage on more then 2 of my units..
