I've made it to Pacific Allies and Axis 1 on the Campaign
I've won 1939 as 3* France and 1* Finland with rank S
I've bought Vatutin
I have about 800+ medals
...And now I'm stuck.
I can't seem to get a win in the 1943 Conquests be it a 1, 2, or 3* country.
I also can't get pass the first mission for both sides of the Campaign.
Should I start over?
I keep hearing that Messe+Leeb is the way to go.

I think that you were supposed to go Messe+Leeb, yeah. However, you can't possibly waste good progress. Did you exhaust all remaining options, including first campaign hard mode?

There are some guides in the library pinned in 《Way of the Emperor》 section. I'm very certain Messe + Leeb works cuz I just only bought my 1st naval gen, Nimitz, only in CWE. As much as I'd like to say Pacific does not necessarily NEED a navy gen, it's better to have one. Plus, Tora Tora Tora is never that easy. _______________________________________________ Adding on to Tadamichi Kuribayashi's point: Have you tried playing <Challenges> to get some medals? In Pacific, it's just that MUCH easier having a powerful gen in your HQ (eg. Guderian) than not. Tl;dr - Just keep trying, okay? Once you buy a powerful gen, things are gonna be smooth sailing for Normal Pacific campaigns. You DON'T NEED to restart. |

No need to start over with this game I think. Even if you watse medals on the weong generals you still get 80% back.
When I reached 1943 I couldnt finish any conquest either.. i neede better tech and another good general worked also.
Now its time for you to just try levels in domination. Try a bit more scenario (also hard modus) and maybe even do over a good and eady 1939 conquest for some more resources and get your tank and infantery tech up a bit..
Take in 1943 first a 3star and use the guides on here and you will see after some trials and some upgrades you will pass it easily
Btw vatutin isnt a wrong general so dont sell him.

Most likely your problem is low tech. Don't hesitate to farm blitzkrieg 1 - that can be done without any tech upgrades or gens - just turn autoplay from the very beginning and after some 2-3 minutes you get your money+resources, this way you can easily and quickly get resources for upgrades (ww2 levels). You can just restart it some times while doing anything else and get money for upgrades. I got to CWE with Timoshenko only with 3 stars almost everywhere instead of some 1 or 2 scenarios replaying each scenario not more than 1-2 times. And Vatutin for tank is better, I have chosen Timoshenko for invasions. Sure, you may have problems because of his speed, but at least 2 stars have to be not a problem.

I bought Messe then Vatutin then Guderian etc. but didn't really have a brick wall to overcome until 1950. The missions are a lot easier than WC3 you can easily finish all the challenges, three star a lot of missions etc. Conquests on the other hand, seems like impossible without tech. Try doing other stuff like challenges and exercises. You might loot enough medals for Leeb.
Also, Germany 1943 is the easiest conquest for me. I did it with 1939 tech with no gens. Basically you need to defend for 10 rounds. Kill dangerous enemy generals by focusing down with your generals and with air strikes as well. You have plently of good air generals already. Losing a few low level cities aren't a real problem but you should be able to build up an attacking momentum around round 15.
If everything else fails, upgrade your tech a little it makes a lot of difference

Even if you have wasted some medals, be it on wrong generals or upgrading skills that is not needed, it is not worth it to restart.
You are better off forced grinding some conquest and brute force everything in scenerios with higher tech. It's more of a grind but it is better than restarting. Just try to complete every single invasions that come at you every 12 hours to farm medals. In the meantime, farm $$ in conquest to upgrade your general banner rank. As well as other resources which can be used to upgrade your tech. With enough tech level you will be able to pass scenerios even if it is not 3 stars. ( you can come back later to 3 star it.) so Long as you unlocked another stage I would call that progress.

Out of curiosity What is the process for restarting? And if restarted, would I lose my purchased Mannstein? To start over, normally you would uninstall then reinstall the game. If you should be able to restore purchases using the button in the bottom left corner of the IAP screen. |
