I've unlocked 1943 but have yet to try Egypt 1943. I'm intimidated by the sheer size of the Reich. Also, my only good tech is inf and arty. I'm now in a dilemma between farming Egypt 1943 or Fin/Hun 1939. My current gens are Messe and Vatutin. Tech are around 1939 level, with some extension to artillery attack and infantry mobility.

I don't think Egypt 1943 is a good farming conquest with only two generals in the team. It is quite challenging...

Japan 1943 is fast and easy without needing reliable generals.

I would stick with farming Finland 1939 until your tech and generals are improved.

Has anyone found a farm while you sleep conquest yet in 1939 or 1943? I don't think it's possible in WC4, but who knows? I would stick with farming Finland 1939 until your tech and generals are improved. You have superb generals. What conquests are you farming?

When modern war is unlocked I think its the best conquest for farming. Highest reward and 1980 is not that hard compared to other conquest years.

Has anyone found a farm while you sleep conquest yet in 1939 or 1943? I can't say for sure if it works from turn 1, but it's possible to set up a strong start in Europe for the first 20 turns, not sure if that's sufficient for the AI to take over the rest. A general rule of thumb: once the major slaughter of generals on the enemy side has finally come to an end, whoever has more income will win in AI vs AI.

Finland 39 is able to auto to a certain extent. Without good gens and good tech I need to take leningrad, moscow and minsk to achieve 80% success rate (units clogging in russia and its turn 150, with only north america in allies hand). With full cold war tech, should be 100% success. Minimum Gens: Guderian, Konev. Capture Leningrad then put on auto.
However, I still try and put the whole roster of generals onto units before putting on auto. Also, I usually capture minsk too. Just to make sure nothing goes wrong. If I remember correctly, the whole grind takes 5-6 hours and around 80 turns with S rank.
I believe full modern tech, Guderian and Konev can win on auto on turn 1. Needs testing though.

Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel, Consider getting an artillery general. They aren't as strong as they were in wc3 but artillery is still better than tanks in a lot of scenarios. Leeb is pretty good and relatively cheap

Leeb is pretty good and relatively cheap ooh did you play wc3 before wc4? no wonder you seem familiar about how wc4 works even though you just started out. Konev is the best, followed by zhukov, and leeb. Zhang zz can be considered too.
