There are many games and I think this will be a fun one. You start of by saying a few facts about your chosen person (to do with history). Others try and guess, trusting we don't use Google.(the person setting the question may use Google) You can give as little or as much infomation as you like Example -i was the 29th potus. -i died only 2 years into my term suffering a heart attack, though I'm rumoured to be poisoned - i my name is similar to a famous rapper Answer- Warren g Harding.

Person 2 -I went to California during the gold rush. -but... not to mine gold, instead, I sold merchandise to the miners. -while a very few miners struck it rich, and most end up poor, I became a lot richer than ANY miner in the 19th century California gold rush. -With all my wealth, it didn't matter because I lost my only child, a son. -So I can't give my stuff to him, I gave it to set up an university in California instead to train future young men (well, and women too ofc lol).
Who am I?

Who am I? -My university later on would have a football team in Div 1 (basically a big-name team in California) -This university is named after my son's surname (which has the same surname as mine ofc) Those two hints are pretty helpful in narrowing it down.

Something something Stanford? I know the UC's won't be named after a person, so.... By jingo, he got it! That's how Stanford came into existence, an extremely wealthy man who lost his only child. The full name of Stanford University is "Leland Stanford Junior University". As for the father, his life story is pretty interesting.

Who am I? Coulda sworn you were talking about Levi Strauss *checks the facts about him to be sure* Oh wow, you're right, it is ALMOST the same. He didn't have a son though, and he didn't actually founded an university itself, but a scholarship program.

I also was thinking Strauss, until I saw the hint about the University and then I knew it was Stanford. I guess being from California helps with knowing that.
