Couple of years after ww2? Couple of years after they declared independence in our timeline. I think that one slap changed the course of Indian history. What to know that?

I think that one slap changed the course of Indian history. What to know that? I'll bite. What was the slap? Mir Jafar was the commander of Siraj-ud-daulah, the nawab (ruler) of Bengal. Once, he slapped him in front of a full court and Mir Jafar vowed vengeance. He then collaborated with the British army in secret. Finally, when Sirajuddaulah was battling the British army, he did not made his troops fight, though they outnumber and are experienced than the British. After arresting Sirajuddaukah, they made Mir Jafar the nawab, removed him, conquered Bengal, and then while India.

He allied himself with the Axis powers in ww2 to take their help in making his own army and invading India. He even fought in Kohima but due to the axis failure in ww2, it failed. But hey, that doesn't mean he is bad I remember him now! I just figured out what the Indian National Army was! The army that allied themselves with the Nipponese to give India independence. Also, your last sentence is accurate, because look at Finland. Everyone loves Mannerheim, but they were in the axis. However, just to get a thorn in, was the Indian National Army a legitimate movement i.e. would it be better if it wasn't there? From what I could tell, India was pretty prosperous under the British Raj, and there was a good amount of autonomy... Anyway, go again for the game. INA was responsible for Indian Independence, not any Gandhi or Nehru. INA inspired the royal Indian navy revolt that convinced the British that they cannot hold much longer hence they gave power to Congress which was pro British , brits hoped that they would support Britain against USA and Ussr but nehru doing only honourable deed as pm , went with USSR, our true friend.

I played a important role in Fall of France 1940 but I am not rommel , guderian , manstein or hitler. I served as minister of defence later for my country but will not outlive the global war that was happening then
