I have a riddle I am regarded by some as their hero , some as a brainwashed person who did a large harm to the nation. I was executed for assassinating a famous person. But I greeted the person before killing him and I fired either 3 bullets on my target. I was called martyr by my supporters and called first terrorist of my nation after independence from Britain by those who do not like me in a same election. Who am I ?

I moved two corps of troops from France to the East, I speculated about air power in a war, and had big footsteps to fill in my command. Easy one.

I was a German general in Russian Service. I commanded the Russian Army during the Battle of Freidland, and returned to lead a column at Leipzig, and to fight at Lützen and at Bautzen. I likely was one of the assassins that killed Paul I, and definitely had links to that conspiracy.
