I was born in 1859.
I saw lots of action in Africa, fighting four different wars there.
I led the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War I.
I had the unfortunate luck of having my troops be the first to experience Chlorine Gas.
I am not Douglas Haig.
Who am I?
