Some of my battles I've fought have been defending at Arnhem '44 and defending against the counter attack after the failed Operation Citadel. Who Am I? Dun, dun, dun!!! LOL.

Here's One.
I was a Marshal of the Soviet Union during World War II.
I joined the Red Army in 1918 and did my training in Turkmenistan.
I was the commander of the troops that pushed the Germans back from Moscow.
I also played a large part in the Battle of Kursk, commanding Operation Kutuzov.
I was one of two generals to accept the formal German surrender in Berlin.
After the war I was in a high position in the East German delegate.
Who am I?
