I dont know if there is a guide or allready a thread about this ( link it down below) but what's your best way to grind and save medals fast and (not purchase) easy.

Buy Messe, and get tech-> Do 1939 conquests and get the most stars on Eastern campaign missions, while branching out into Pacific-> Upgrade tech and do 1943 conquests-> Get Guderian.
This is my set-up to get Guderian, as the end result says, and it's working nicely. The key is knowing what you can handle, and how much is available on the way to your goal. I can most likely handle all that I've said, and therefore can assume I'll reach Guderian.

*is 600 medals away from Guderian* I can feel the light! I had 300 medals away from Rokossovsky, then I went to upgrade gen skills cuz of CWE last campaigns. Yeah, I probably should've went to get Rokossovsky shouldn't I? |

I'm worse off, with only practically unupgraded Red Guderian & Green Messe as tank gens, I've to try to at least quickly cover the costs to get Rokossovsky + 60% Rommel or aim for Vatutin + 60% Rommel. Note: I'm at NATO & WTO 8 with most pre-UN achievements completed.  |

The only way you can speed up getting medals is to clear as many invasions as possible. Otherwise just clear what you can. For that purpose my first gen was Timoshenko (but I think it's better to buy Messe first and than Timoshenko, possibly selling Messe) who can handle all land invasions and second Nimitz who handles navy invasions. For that purpose you need some extra resources to buy troops for your legion, but that's not a problem, you can always autofarm them from scenarios. From the very beginning (without any gens or upgrades) that's normal blitzkrieg - just autoplay from the first turn, after some time it can be hard model blitzkrieg too, later some pacific scenarios are easy to clear.
