I finally have Guderian and konev :-))
Now who is next? I was thinking about upgrading them first, but buying another in the future seems so tempting , but I need rumor in the future, than I can start farming 1950 conquest for resources

Rommel maybe? Or Nimitz if you can't get him. And if you can't get Rommel, but desperately need a tank gen, go for Rokossovsky or Vatutin if you can't afford him |

I am at cold war as well, today finished Pacific. Need to do all the hard mode's of all the Pacific and Europe still. First I am going to try to farm some resources in 1950 conquests to make live easier.

That is true. When do you need to upgrade the skills on the generals? After you have that many generals or when you hit cold war I started to upgrade gens after I bought 6th. Except of Konev, for whom I upgraded raider 3 earlier to handle infantry invasions. Possibly it's not so bad idea to start upgrading when you have Guderian, Konev, Nimitz and some other gen you bought first, but in fact when you have such team that's not a problem to get medals for Rommel and Leeb and with the help of them you'll be able to clear more tasks, which give you resources and medals (sure these gens will help in battles too). |

You HAVE to be willing to pump in a lot of resources into tech tree upgrades & building a huge fleet. Plus, I had Guderian as air gen but still took heavy casualties on 3rd mission. You NEED at least average to good gens at naval & aerial warfare, that's my recommendation for inccuring less losses. |

Is it easy to unlock the full discount for Nimitz? Haven't tried it yet I did it with Timoshenko only. Don't remember, which tech I had, but for sure I haven't unlocked cold war at that time. And that wasn't so hard. If I remember correctly and there you fight against Japan with 2 super battleships and 1 carrier - it just required some tricky strategy to avoid killing battleships. |
