hi. i joined this forum yesterday and im stuck in moscow. i have just zakrevsky as infantry general so i was wandering if there is a way to win this battle just with him. i tried several tactics but so far i have failed

Why hello there, Rommel. For me, I did it with 2-3 generals...
I would think you just have to get a cavalry general, and see what happens.

Here is an existing guide on clearing the campaign: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/597/retreat-empireNote: You definitely need more good gens such as Princesses, etc. if you wish to possess much needed firepower to win here. |

You should have him by now Have you been conquesting for princess's also? If you only have the one general,this could be a "wait for later"task. |

Im doing conquest. Started with spain and im doing good progress. I know i need much more firepower to win that one but im trying a new tactic to retreat napoleon and take a city from prussia while the rest is defending moscow and strategically retreating to poland after some turns hoping that the prussians and poles could kill the russian generals.

My guess is that there is a 50-50 chance of them killing enemy gens. Better to rely on your own strength. Yes, that's what's most important. Death of Emperor Napoleón means defeat. Retreat him to ensure he recovers for battle. Plus, Moscow is gonna be a bloodbath anyways. Better to retreat & live for another day than die a worthless death. |

just today i got sophia and she helped a lot in moscow. I won that battle with 3 stars. What i did is to cafefully move napoleon and the wounded ney to plock in poland while the rest of the army was defending moscow kaluga. I read the forum about defending moscow but i think hiding napoleon works better as the russians dont know if to take moscow or face prussians and poles to get to napoleon. All the russian generals that came got killed and ney and napoleon healed and they did the honors by killing alexander  i also upgraded every city that i could so the income would be high |
