Hey guys. I have 4 Princesses and even when I use them in the early campaigns (Jena or Three Emperors) I'm still seem to be falling short, so I realised that I'm tackling things wrong. Is there any common mistakes I should avoid in campaigns? Sorry, very broad question but any help would be greatly appreciated Also, Hi guys.. I'm new around these parts

I'm new around these parts First of all, it's my wish to warmly welcome you to this community. As you said, the question is very broad, so it would be useful to know how many generals you have and who they are. Well, Austerlitz in ANY faction is hard.
Jena-Auerstedt, IMO, requires your northernmost light cav & the nearby heavy cav gen to attack Oldenburg then turn East towards the stables near Berlin.
The others are to rescue Ney & defend at Jena until ALL attacking enemies are killed. Deploy your arty carefully behind your cav, inf, etc. This is to maximise efficiency by letting your better dmg dealers (arty) do so unmolested.
Once you see an opening at Berlin & the attacks at Jena had been killed, RUSH towards Berlin & end this battle quickly.
Navy is to go around Denmark & attack Russian transports at sea.

Hi,if you got 4 princess's and i assume a regular gen,say Dumouriez. The battle of 3 emps,is done easy, by just consolidating all the generals(yes all them)on taking Vienna. Once taken hold at all costs, let them come and they will, kill them and you are done.
Battle of Jena,do what Nobunaga Oda says,it worked for me also.

Thank you so much for responding guys! I just realised that Generals don't guarantee victory, so I wanted to improve my overall strategy. I guess that just comes with experience. I'll take your advice on board. A huge salute for the warm welcome

Look for the generals and cities with red pulsing circles. Those are your objectives - either kill, capture, or defend (depending on who owns them at the start of the battle). Everything else can be ignored, or at the very least you should not waste turns trying to capture or kill it unless it gets in your way.

Yes pathdoc, I used that earlier today and I finally got my 5 stars in 3 Emperors. Great tip for newbies like me.
