I current on lv39 have 8 general, but suddent when i log in wc4 i hav black screen, when i try to restart, all my progress is gone, lost all my general, tech,landmark and medal but achievement, lv, legion, wonder still the same, anyone know how to fix this, really confused n hav used lot of my money in this, i hav email ET but still dont hav the answer, been using restore button but only comeback general from iap.

After going depressed being lost my progress in wc4, im doin research about this most dangerous bug in wc4, here are my though.
How to trigger :
Open wc4 in other program or app, example : open wc4 in play store, open wc4 in game booster or other app. Always open wc4 directly!!
What happen? Then you will see a black screen and you wont able to enter wc4, after you restart all your progress will banish!
What progress will you lose?
1. Lost All your general, restore button will only restore your iap general not the other
2. All your resource, such medal,gold,industry etc they will reset to default beginner resource
3. All your Landmark
4. All your exercise progress
5. All your tech tree
6. All your upgrade skill (the green circle in scenario)
7. All your Collection Medal
I research in android only, and hope ET will fix this bug a.s.a.p.

The same thing happened to me the other day !! Lost all the things I bought and money (resetted), except the same thing u said.
Thanks for the warnings, I wanna try it so I can be sure that's the reason but don't wanna risk it again cuz my progress is fine enough.

Updated warning, dont bother to continue your progress after this happen, not only you lost all things i mention before but you also suffer some serious technical problem that will crash the game, better reset progress all over again. |

Yes that's how it's trigger the bug, not just you open in playstore,but other app too such as app gameboostee. i have tested that several times in android |

I thought you meant you run wc4 as usual and than run in from app store. Anyway, I don't use any game booster, and I think for wc4 it's not needed at all. I play it on my old galaxy core prime, and even there no speed problems. |

Just tried, if you run the game from shortcut on desktop, minimize it and than run from shortcut in all programs result is the same. Luckily I have one more phone, where I can make such experiments. Very interesting situation btw. Why do you need your progress without gens? You already have high level, so you can't clear invasions without gens and you also can't get medals from scenarios/domination/achievements, as you already cleared some of them and most likely are not able to clear any other without gens. |
