It is with a heavy heart that I tell you all that, most likely before the Alt-History ends, I will be leaving the forum.
It's been 2 years since I first signed up here, and I've had many a great experience. World in Flames made me numerous friends, and I hope it does so with many more of you. However, in the past four months, things haven't felt the same. Many of those friends have come and gone, and the WiF is on life support. And while the WiF is on life support, my activity and interest on this site is on life support. Many times before I have simply gone on a hiatus of a week to a month or 2, but I don't believe that I should stave off the inevitable any longer. I will be resigning as RP Executive on the day of my leave and, and if the current administration will converse with me and allow my input, pick an RP Exec-to-be.
Whether or not I leave the forum before the Alt-History ends remains to be seen, but considering recent events and my state of interest, it is plausible I might.
To those of you who I've known since my very beginning here, and somehow still remain, y'all've been great people to have as company,
To those of you whom I met late 2016 and early 2017, my how you've grown,
And to those of you who I met in my waning days, I hope you find the success and happiness here that I once did.
