Wanted to do the the Conquest of 1950 with a 1 star country for the achievement (and medal), so after looking at the difficulty ranking for that conquest on NetherFreek 's Library, I went with North Korea. In the first attempt, it was painful and I was unable to push, as for some reason, China focused south and Rusia in the west, so I was left almost alone against South Korea and Japan. The constant air harass and battleships knocking on my capital city made me get mad and re-attempt it (day 8, I took down South Korea, day 15 I was unable to heal nor push back due my weak economy)
The second attempt was way different, China was very supportive and Japan was attacking with land gens against Chinese ships, getting his own generals taken down stupidly. Well, I conquered Japan and sent a couple of Gens across Asia to capture a city in Europe and give full support there. Atm Im stuck as even though I get almost 2k gold and 800 industry per turn, I have 5 fronts to fight on, which 3-4 focuses to hold the line (as my allies were unable) and I push on the last one (atm North America)
However, I noticed this soon after I landed on Alaska... a huge agglomeration of ships (cruisers and destroyers... submarines and land troops were going across the Panama Canal like they should) were stuck in the Gulf of Mexico... (except Brazilian ones) and now I fear doing something that triggers them to quit there and behave properly, forcing me to pull back in the whole Pacific push.
My allies on the meanwhile, keep on stacking troops at the top of Russia (this was reported previously) so I guess the *Auto Corrected*ness is kinda even between both sides. Any suggestions by someone that played against this?
Also I feel Im going way slower than I should, as its turn 71 and Im still far from victory, whilst by this day, in the 1939 campaign I was almost finished.
Thanks in advance!
