I already got golitsyn and now I want to add another cav general.

Skills: strike, spy, cavalry trainer, stars: 4 cavalry, 2 movement and training. He's good against troops and fortresses. Berthier = Golitsyn + geography. Stars: 1 cavalry and movement, 4 artillery and business. Great damage, great movement, high cost. Raevsky. Skills: surprise, defense art, movement trainer. Stars: 3 infantry and cavalry, 4 movement. Fast and resistant, he can command infantry. Ney: not recommended, Sophia is better Augereau, Gouvion, Platov, Nansouty: trash Wittgenstein: expensive trash Mervelt is replaceable by Diez MacDonald is replaceable by Dumouriez |

Ney was good in real life. In this game he has mobility (irrilevant) siege master and spy. Sophia has siege master, spy and explosive. As you can see, the Russian Princess is way better

I know he's not a tier two general, but Dumoriez was an excellent choice for me. He has the cavalry trainer skill for when you want to train Lan, he has four stars in cavalry, and the surprise skill, which is great. I used him for a while and he served me well.
