In response to General William T. Sherman's Italian lesson I'm going to make a German lesson. Hallo-Hello Guten Morgen-Goodmorning Gute Nacht-Goodnight Schön dich/Sie zu treffen-nice to meet you Auf Wiedersehen-See you soon/again Wie heisst/heissen du/Sie- What's your name Ich heisse- my name is Woher kommst du- where are you from Ich komme aus- I'm from Wie alt bist/sind du/Sie- How old are you Ich bin...Jahre alt- I'm...years old If anyone wonders why there are /s, it's because in German there is you used for friends (du) and there is a more respectful you (Sie). Note: You have to capitalize the S in Sie because sie means she. If you would like to know any words please let me know. I'm fluent in German and it's my native language.

Nee audio files for these.Even if we were to learn the words as written, no German would ever understand us speaking them as we would most likely butcher the correct pronunciation beyond recognition !

Yes, I can't really add audio but this is mainly for writing in German. German is very complicated and somewhat unique (they capitalise nouns, the quotation marks are on the bottom and then at the top, and we use 3 articles (der, die, das))

I started learning English by living in the US a year ago and my class back in Switzerland has English since 7th grade and my English after a month was better than their after a year.

I could type all those words of German here but if lannes give me the permit then I can teach you all the words like Wir Essen, Wir trinken, Sie essen das Brot, I am also a beginner at German but a bit advanced (a bit). And yeah the word "the" has its three German cousins, Das,Die and Der.

I did Italian at school for two years before dropping it because they never taught me how to string a basic conversation together, however three weeks in Malta and I can speak it semi-fluently lol

I'm saying this because then I could correct it if there are possible mistakes. And normally it's being said as der, die, das never heard someone say it in a different order.
