Crossfire can get 48 (Rommel 40% Monty) with a medal which is ridiculous Yeah, give him pf + medal, aa + medal, pl + medal, crossfire max At max, he will have 30 (tank ability) + 37 (plain fighting) x 1.48 (aa) x 1.30 (cross) x 2 (crit bonus, I don’t remember this one. Might be 1.75) = 260 additional damage just from his skills each time. Factor in the additional damage of the base unit, and he’ll have a ~ 300 damage bonus when pl triggers, ~ 150 when it doesn’t. I still prefer Guderian as a main damage dealer.

Should I upgrade Guderian's Rumor for Rommel’s discount missions? They are currently giving me trouble despite the fact that I can use Super Tanks an have Manstein.

But i think that monty is in a city with a radio station (immume to rumor). Alexander luckily isn’t, so you might have to fight your way to monty

But thanks for already providing me advice for his third and final mission.

Cover's been very helpful for Guderian. I have it at Level 3. Sometimes he gets attacked by a hard-hitting tank general like Vatutin, but if Cover activates, the damage of Vatutin's attack gets reduced by half. That + the high defense that tanks have make Guderian take less than 50 damage. Cover at Level 5, which I do not intend to reach until my roster is complete and decently upgraded, completely negates the damage, making an attack boosted by a skill like Panzer Leader completely useless. This allows Guderian to counterattack without taking damage, and if the counterattack does not kill the general, it will normally leave him weakened, which will then allow Guderian to finish him off.

Cover triggers very often sometimes. For example, today I redid Operation Overlord. Dönitz has Level 1 Cover in it. He was attacked twice by Eisenhower in the carrier, but Cover triggered each time Dönitz was attacked!

Its a decent skill! Do not upgrade it very high though, as the chance is the same anyway. Its like shield wall in gcr.

I have it at Level 3, taking half the damage seems enough for me.

Guderian is one of the very few generals in the game where giving them Marshal rank is kinda worth it. Imagine Guderian Marshal Rank + base skills Level 5 and boosted by medals + Rumor and Explosives Level 5 + Purple Rank + Super Tank. Literally a one-man army. The enemy will have to go broke spamming units to kill Guderian, or send all of their finest generals just to kill Heinz, leaving the other fronts vulnerable.

On the battlefield, only I, Konev, Vatutin, Rommel, and Manstein can destroy myself basically.

You can always fulfill your wishes if you’re determined. Fully upgraded Guderian. Now he only needs the other medals and the green, red and purple ranks. I dedicated the European War to upgrade him.
