Well the US football is also kicked during a game, just the same as the world football (soccer) is hand thrown in a portion of the game. Also the US football has way cooler aerodynamics and flight patterns than the world football, the funny shape has a purpose! Having said that I played both and world football (soccer) is 100 times more fun for me. Also when watching world soccer games on TV you are not interrupted by commercials/ advertisements every 5 minutes.

I always play soccer with the Brazilians (I also excuse for the 7-1 disaster) and look like a fool when I try throwing back a handegg to the guys playing with it.

I love football. I have tried almost every sport, didn't like basketball, hater soccer, loved baseball and I am in love with football. I don't know what's so fun about throwing a ball and getting clobbered by 300 pound dudes but it is.

I think that I hate soccer because it's a foot game. I'd rather be using my hand or a glove to catch something than kick one around. Don't ask me why we decided to name the football what it is.

Once upon a time, I was at the stadium for an American football game between Utah State and another team I don't remember. Then there was one minute left in the game time, I walked around the stadium looking for some nacho cheese, when I got back to my seat, the game was still not over yet. Wasn't that amazing!!?
btw, I like playing football (the one that is played exclusively with feet).

Well when 2 minutes are left in the 4th quarter, there is a 2 minute warning called for an automatic timeout. Then each team has 3 timeouts so they can stall that clock for centuries.

There are people that think football (soccer) isn't interesting "because nobody scores anything for minutes". General William T. Sherman can I borrow your M4 to shoot my way back to Switzerland?
