Gone, Seger, I think he meant how to get units for konev missions. Yes, to get units go to HQ and go to Inventory at the bottom left corner to buy artillery units to use in domination battles

Yamashita can be easily used to compensate Manstein's lack of Rumor while also having a similar role: Rushing to the frontlines and dealing heavy damage to the enemy.

Ok. Going to give him Infantry Leader and Guerrilla. that's my chosen skills too some say guerilla can be replaced with terrain bonus or explosives, but guerilla has its merits as well

I’d do that, but unfortunately Yamashita won’t survive Modern War. 😰

Manstein is an overpowered tank general and one of the best in the game. Surpasses Guderian as a damage dealer. You won’t need Rokossovsky if you have him.

I think there is no reason not to name Manstein the best tank general in the game. I’m serious. He has very high damage, is extremely fast and has insane HP. Plus, if you buy him, you will never have to do it again.
Guderian's only real advantage over Manstein is the ability to have Rumor, but that limits his potential of being a damage dealer. Plus, he is the most expensive general in the game and thus many medals must be spent to put him in his full potential. Most importantly he has lower HP than Manstein, ranking only 1 rank above Leeb and others that have Mayor. Therefore, unless you promote him considerably, he is someone that you should have more care when using.
If you already have Manstein, you don’t really need to buy Guderian, as Manstein is practically Guderian 2.0., and if people can beat the game with Guderian being their top-tier tank general, then it’s also possible to do so with Manstein. I recommend getting Rommel instead at first, and then around Cold War you can buy Guderian. But make sure that you will have a good amount of medals after buying him. And another thing: Don’t use him over Manstein unless you upgrade him, because he has lower HP than Erich.

Because of that, some would say "Jump off a cliff!"

Manstein is a very good general. Great skills, HP, and being on a tank always helps. Too bad unlike guderian he cannot get rumor, as in this game morale matters a lot.

He is still the best damage dealer in the game. Plus his insane movement. Timoshenko, MacArthur and Manstein are the only playable generals that have or can have 6 stars in movement.
