I just want to share to you how I accelerate my refresh rate up to 50%. Recently Ive been testing alot of campaigns to see which campaign gives you a lot of points for refreshing and for me in my opinion Battle of wagram of the Imperial eagle suits best because its map is not too wide and you got a ton of enemy generals to kill all you need is to wipe the entire enemy it will give you a 50% refresh points. I got Golitsyn , sophia , isabela , sulkowski and kate. I hope this will help (:

Yes but the Generals in the battle of three emperors are stronger and your army is more primitive than the one at the Battle of Wargam plus you won't always get an X precentage of a refreshment when you kill someone. There is a scale from x-y. The x-y scale is higher on a General Kill than a normal unit kill. But killing a normal unit is more easier. A semi-good way of achieveing Refreshes is having a Highranking Cavalry General. Austria 1815. Put him or her on the Armoured Car and I am not talking out of expirence but I know that the Imperial Eagle forces amass you with Low Class unit excpet for those they have started with. (So basically if you take out the Stronger units , they won't be spawned again). There are two ideas from this as I haven't tested this. Get a foothold the first rounds with all of your generals as Austria of course having the Cav General put on the Car to secure a point where you wouldn't need to worry about all fronts except the French where you would put all your Commanders into defensive positions and wait for the enemy to amass with the floods of weak units. So the goal is to defeat the stronger units and then let the Enemy just hit on your defensive wall of Generals and strong units. And of course save at a certain point so you can repeat. Other is and I think this wouldn't work but it is still worth a try. The Italian states will go after Zagreb over the Adriatic so that would be a good defensive spot. the Adriatic would be a good spot as well because of the Lowered Combat Effectives of Units being Transported over water.

Killing normal units contributes to the refresh rate? I thought I read somewhere that only killing generals contributes to the refresh rate

3% for general 1% for unit
To get refreshes do fire of revolution attack Davout with Radetzky. Then restart.
