Govorov is a strong artillery general, but Zhang Z.Z. is arguably better than him. Also, he is quite expensive. You can get Leeb who is better for about 700 medals less. Nevertheless, if you want to use Govorov, you can give him max Rumor to make him stronger.

Well here we go. This is one of the generals that falls into the category of "Was really strong in previous game but then ET realized that and nerfed the heck out of him". This can apply to any et game. Hall of Blamed: GovorovGolitsyn

I don’t think we will have a future world conqueror type as easytech is forbidden from using modern china in it. Funny enough, he has essentially the same skills he did in wc3. Wc3 he was the most powerful art general in the game tho |

Has potential to be powerful, but like zhang will never be purchased by us. I’d probably say that I think all his skills are good. His entrenchment skill is sort of good when attacking or getting attacked by artillery units (kind of useful in conquest when you are on a howitzer). His mountain fighting skill, like for graziani, will be in use here and there. And his movement is not that bad. He has 2 stars I believe. Not a single artillery general you can purchase in this game starts out with more than 3 stars. And no, you don’t count Smigley. You are terrible |
