Ok I managed to figure out son of Scotland 3, got enough medals for Nobunaga and bought him. Thanks for the help everyone!

I'm playing as classic Greece,now that i am figureing out conquests,needing scrools so can advanvce.
Staying with Alexander's way to do it.
Trying to conquer Persia,(almost done)keeping alliance with Rome and the Huns so i can take Eygpt then move east to India.
My question, will this suceede?

If you want to play as the ONLY 1* with 1 city, then prepare to war like never before, IF your gens are weak. The Scotts MUST conquer ALL of England & Ireland before they can even begin to compete on a continental scale. Moreover, they have no friends. |

I wouldn't recommend since it doesn't give any literature, has a slowish start, and is the weakest 1 star nation in the era. You should usually go for nations that are powerful for their tier, has an alliance with a bigger country, and gives literature (at least 1 reason). like stoic said, you should always go for a conquest that gives literature. You are going to need a lot of literature in later ages. I'm in discovery age now with 150 literature which is only a quarter of the way there. But if you think Scottland is fun, then you can do it. To be honest I've never been excited about conquests. It's one of the more boring parts about the game. |
