I have 1040 medals now. I was thinking of buying either
-Crerar+other general (Greim?) -Student
These are the stats of Crerar, Student and Greim
Crerar: 550 medals -Captain (80) -Has 2 stars in both artillery as panzer -Has lvl 4 plain fighting > +20 damage on almost all terrains -other skill is sailor lvl 1> 3 extra damage in sea -Total extra damage of 20+12= +32
Greim: 460 medals -Lieutenant (65) -Has 4 stars air force ability. Has 2 stars artillery ability and 1 star panzer ability -Has fortifications lvl 1 (+4 city health each turn) -Has supply lvl 1 (+2 unit health each turn) -Has a total air force damage of +24 -Has a total artillery damage of 12
Student: 1020 medals -Major (100) -Has 3 stars in infantry ability. Has 4 stars air force ability. Has 1 star navy ability. Has 2 stars move ability -Has infantry leader lvl 3 (12%) -Has Raider lvl 3 (18%) -Has explosives lvl 4 > does 32 more damage against cities and fortresses -Has a total air force damage of +24 -Has a total infantry damage of +18 and +50 when attacking cities or fortresses
--------------------------------------------- I already have: -Badoglio (4 star arty, 2 star movement) -Vatutin (5 star panzer) -Osawa (3 star air force, 4 star navy -Nasser (3 star infantry, 2 star navy) -The 3 eye-covered (1 star abilities not mentioned)
You can always suggest another general!

Crerar: Very high output, but only captain, and slow.
Greim: Cheap 4 stars air, but only lieutenant.
Student: High Explosive 4 star air, but only major, no Bayonet Charge, 10 medals more than C+G.
Depends on you.

Depends on you. Thank you! I only have to say that Bayonet charge is most time useless because you do not want to heavy combat your air force general. I think I will go for Student.

Another advice, if you are buying Student, you probably can sell Nasser.

Since you have Badoglio and Vatutin, why don't you aim right for Guderian? Your current generals are pretty decent for WW II campaigns already.

I do not like Guderian that much. Of course he is the best tank general of the game but the price.... For 1/3 of the money you get Vatutin so.

I thought the same way about him until I actually played with him. On a Super Tank he can destroy everything, I normally go into the middle of paratrooper+city and just start destroying people. If you have Badoglio who shoots once at a city and then destroy the unit with Guderian so that Guderian does more damage to the city, it can be really fun

I agree that Vatutin might be better power-per-price-wise but you will eventually reach the end game phase when you are gonna buy the best generals anyway. That is why I bought Konev for about triple price of Badoglio.
