Might be because he has the fireproof skill, which is considered to be most effective for navy generals. But he is cavalry focused as far as I know.

He has leadership, geography, assault art and fireproof, he can command any units Never really liked him because of him being some kind of “jack of all trades” as I prefer more specialized generals. But you’re right, his versatility allows him to command everything, with geography giving him more advantage when commanding Arty/Cav.

I understand why fireproof is a good skill for naval generals, like Kate, but it seems to me that you barely take any damage from fire in the first place. The only negative aspect of it is that it makes it hard to see health!

The only negative aspect of it is that it makes it hard to see health! Yeah, it is one of the most useless skills in the game. But I would do everything to have it when playing WC4.

His skills are perfect for navy. He is a very good multi-role hybrid. Infantry, Cavalry and navy.
