as you can see indians cant create some troops in "america 1775" so i got a question, do countries have a tech-tree at the conquest, like we also got one in campaign? like brittain got strong naval forces etc...

Edit:I wrote the post below but then I realized you can build guards but not simpler infantry units. humm something is strange here Level of city/building: Larger cities/ports/stables/factories allow building everything while the smaller structures only allow some units to be built. Technology:Technology affects only campaigns not conquests. National bonuses:Certain countries allow for bonuses to their units, these are independent of technologies,it simply is that a country is good at making certain units, for example USA militia are very strong.Other examples: British ships,Russian light cavalry,Ottoman heavy cannons. There is a thread out there that shows national bonuses, let me see if I can find it. ahh here it is european-war-4.boards.net/thread/6/country-bonus-information-major-powers

Indian troops didn't really have Grenadiers. They didn't have Line Infantry either really. So a historically right move would be not giving them Line and Grenadier but give them the Light infantry (which they had in RL to surprise enemies)
