I already have 2 artillery generals ( Scharnhorst and Sophia) so I decided to get a tier 2 cavalry General? Who is better, Golitsyn or Sulkowski? I'm looking for raw damage.

If you want raw damage, buy Golytsin. His attack is just incredible. Sulkowski, on the other hand, has the advantage of being cheaper, he's also a trainer and a fort destroyer.

Why does it have to be T2? Domouriez,at T1 is great cav general in the beginning, mid game, also a trainer at a lower cost and if you decide on better cav general later, you can keep him as back up or just regroup him.

If deciding solely between Golitsyn and Sulkowski, I don't see why you wouldn't choose Golitsyn. He's fantastic, and fully trained in cavalry stars. As rjs, says, however, Dumoriez is also a great choice for an early cavalry general in which you can carry far into the game.

I think Dumouriez is a starting general, at that point of the game I would buy someone stronger

Golitsyn...it’s not really something that’s worth debating when comparing him to Sulkowski.
BTW, any of the killer-elite cavalry generals (those with Strike+Surprise) make fine fort-crackers if they’re placed on a Guards Cav; which is an under-appreciated nuance to the game.

Both of them are good, I prefer Golitsyn more, Sulkowski is the cavalry general you get before max Lan or Max Berthier. Sulkowski is a trainer too.
