Why in hell,do all great chinese genetals look western;? It is sad that a game game made by asians made them look not asian.. It's the 1st time ET used this cartoon style to make its games, so they might not be very good at creating more unique features that distinguishes "Westerners" from "Easterners". However, IMO, the Asian gens still look somewhat distinct from their Western counterparts. The portriats have them in oriental garb,yes,excepting Mulan and maybe Genghis,,facial features is pure european. |

Point 1,good to know real cash is not needed to progress as you have done,Bravo for you well done! Been getting everything as cheap i can,not sure of what you mean by freebies however. Who is Mocte?where to get him? Not that i have 40k to get him now as used all my coinage on unlocking Medina. Play all auto missions,they are getting tougher sometimes win but less now as need better generals. So have stopped playing them as well as campaigns,working on getting the redbearded one then Saladin,it will be awhile. Conquests are still on the table tho, as i need literature badly,back to grinding. |

By freebies I meant the pieces of equipment you can pick up in some campaigns & missions from the markets with the green halos.
Moctezuma, he appears in Lyon at some point fairly early on and costs 40k coins so no medals are required for purchase, only if you decide to upgrade him.

Oh yeah,i always get those green halos never let one pass,even if it takes another go as you don't have to complete the mission to obtiain them ,another plus for this version. Don't have enough coinage to unlock another now my plate is full on waitin for new generals to see thier potential ,atm. |

My most useful generals,are as follows.
Alex of course,lvl 30,steel boots so he moves and strikes like lightning,
Cleo,also moves fast enough for siege only at catapult now but that is good enough she also wears the lucky crown.
Next favorite is Joan,how could one not love her?
Has healing skill,when upgraded ,must spend medals be warned,,can be a gamechanger tho,i use her abilities just for healing banging away at walls or cities to fill her rage why did the french roast her alive as a heretic (or was it the brits?)is beyond me,but i digress.br]The rest are unoteable imo,just there to help in empire slogging except Robin,at 2 stars he is lagging a bit behind.

And now on to generals,the most intriguing aspect of this game.
Acquiring them keeps me going,even when stuck.
Thier new abitilties possible will get me past the forlorn conclusion ill never progress any further.
They give me hope therefore i go on.
This game is the toughest ET yet.imo.

I am guessing the developers outsourced to a another country for graphics thus losing much on thier history. |

Imo,longbowman,should have higher damage than crossbowmen.short range vs long range.

Well they suck!!
8 hours you get 3% on getting a general.
I guess they decided to implement a clash of clans COC to extreme here.
So you have to wait,say Saladin takes a week or longer.
I do have patience, but this really is to much.

He is an archer (needed another)rather weak now,but will improve,also a healer great skill. |

Conquests,are very labourious, once taken a capital,they move it to another. You only have certain routes you can take,so forget about strategy. On a more positive note,lvl3 and above cities you should keep and upgrade,so that they can't be recaptured. Antoplay seems to work well once you get there where resources are high enough and high age lvl. Finished only 2 conquests thus far,just today however,so wadda i know,right? Conquest is very laborious at the beginning. If you are in imperial age, try to get Saladin asap. When you have Saladin you can make it into empire age. Also make sure to raid markets in bonus missions for literature. To get China you can do invasions, if you're invasions don't give that out you can do so with daily missions, campaign, conquest, and conquering cities. Doing Inca classic gives less literature than Greece,but it's a lot easier in empire age and gives out diamonds- and it's diamond count won't really be beat until discovery age. Save your medals for Nobunaga. |
