Redsigc , I remarked something funny while playing European War 4: the British Light Cavalry model, with little aestethic changes, can be used as the model for the Romanian Lancer Cavalry (Rosiori). Here is a compartison. Also, last image (the blue uniform, is how the Romanian light cavalry should look like). Have a nice weekend!

If I may make a suggestion, I believe that the country of mexico needs to be separated due to a civil war raging during that time period. The factions would be The Mexican Government and the revolutionaries.
I also believe that they may need their own uniforms which may appear as this
