Actually, I have never played Three Kingdoms. But now, after testing the game and getting a bit if an idea about how mechanics work, I realised that we can have fortified settlements. That is wonderful, because we can create custom settlements from Middle Earth, such as Minas Tirith, Helm's Deep, Isengard, Dale, Erebor, Khazad-Dum, Barad-Dur, Umbar, Edoras and so many more! But still, there should be one more feature: cultures. The idea is for 4 major cultures - men, elf, dwarf and orc town, eaxh one with a different look. Off course, if it is possible...

Now, one we set what units each nation should have, it's time to create the factions. The most simple example us for the War of the Ring conquest.
The "good guys": Gondor, Breeland, Rohan, Dale, Erebor, Khazad-Dum, Eried-Luin, Rivendell, Lindon, Mirkwood Elves, Lothlorien, Dorwinion, Dol Amroth, Enidwaith (they might also be a neutral nation)
- The "bad guys": Dunland, Harad, Rhun, Umbar, Khand, Mordor, Dol Goldur, Misty Mountains, Gundabad, Angmar, Isengard
ATTENTION! The Dwarves of Khazad-Dum will not beging the War of the Ring conquest with a town. They will have 2-3 units (one elite and two others) under the command of Balin, found next to Moria. They need to make their way to the town, as it is described in the book. Is it possible to create such a mechanic?

Now, after actually playing Three Kingdoms, I realised something: I didn't create enaugh units. Here is aist of all the units I should have created: a) Infantry: - militia: done - spearmen: done - axemen: - (or they can be replaced by swordsmen?) - pikemen: done - guards: done - battering ram: - (or it can be the Isengard bomb)
b) Cavalry: - light cavalry: done - heavy cavalry: done - chariots/superheavy cavalry: done - cavalry guards/ general's cavalry bodyguard: somehow done...
c) Archers:
- archer: done - master archer: - - crossbows: only for some factions instead of archers - catapult - heavy catapult
I realise that I thought everything after the European War 4 mechanics, and so I still have a lot of work to do. The fastest way to complete the gap would be to create some custom units from what I already created, SO I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP GUYS.Post all your ideas here, and Bismark Junior and me will start working on that.

Honestly, I really don't know. I didn't unlock yet all the units in game. I think there should be both archer units and artillery, but I don't know yet all the units from the game. As I said, I initially planned it after the European War 4 mechanics. Sorry for any misunderstanding! Any bit of help would be great.

Now, I start to doubt how good is Three Kingdoms for making this mod. Personally, I would go with European War 4, because I already created the unit ideas after that game. In kingdoms you don't have a solid conquest (at least I haven't seen any) I don't know what other units to fill the mod with (it looks like I lack some unit categories for all factions - in EW4 that problem would have not exist). The only plus I can momentarily see on the Chinese themed game is the melee attack, which I don't know how to introduce.
I am still waiting for Bismarck to give me a situation update, because he said he will work on the map, and I will make the research. Maybe he will have a bit more time after completing Bellum Romanum. I will Not annoy him anymore with this, but it is clear I will not work on the technical part because I have no dear how to do it. Have a nice weekend, gentlemen!

Are they to replace artillery? Nope. In this game, artillery is placed in the same recruitment building with the archers.

A new, updated map of Middle Earth. Sorry for bad image quality, I had to do a quick shot on the computer at hightschool during my PC classes, from an old computer (yeah, we still use Windows XP and 95/98 at classes). This time, I have all the factions, on a map quickly done from my mind. Hope they are clear enaugh to make an idea about this universe and the people living in it. Attachments:
