Post by General William T. Sherman on Nov 4, 2015 11:06:08 GMT
I've now heard Khurram wants to leave the forum due to the drama aimed at him. Thus, we are stopping these wars. I will not take part in any that might occur after, and I do not want any more of the wars on this thread. If they do pop up, I will ask permission from Saltin to lock them. Please understand.

I was really sad at seeing that all wars ended up with me being a target but since saltin has proposed a model and has talked to me, I have restored faith in the community and I am not going anywhere (though I was in real life tension that I have ruined a good entertainment source of this forum and I don't belong here, BTW this is all real) and we can have more wars thanks to saltin's model. You all can do more and more wars and I shall be a part of them, sometimes taking part in them and sometimes being an instructor Hope all is good (again, as saltin says )

I understand I people do not want a referee or me as referee so I it is an option and not necessary

Anyone can be a referee, its not an issue, I guess both haelicon and Talleyrand can be referee, secondly I have to admit, I can't live without these wars they always make me open up the map

Could I perhaps be the person that searches for historical incorrectness? This is to make sure that no unexpected, totally unlikely things occur. For example, let's say that France decides to attack the Germans in 1940 to prevent Fall Gelb for happening. Due to lucky numbers with the dices, France wins. This is quite unlikely as: 1. France had a defensive mentality due to construction of Maginot Line. 2. As Haelicon expertly pointed out in his lectures about WW2 (I'm still hoping for a new "season") France spend most of its budget for Defense on the construction of Maginot Line and so didn't spend enough money on the modernizanation of the French army. 3, As Haelicon also pointed out (if I remember correctly), France spread their tanks over numerous infantry divisions (just like the USSR) instead of putting them into tank division (Panzerarmee) like the Germans did. 4. French generals are crap. Huntziger, Gamelin and those army commanders.... "bad" doesn't even begin to cover their ineffectiveness. 5. German propaganda managed to demoralize the French.
