That's a very interesting and helpful analysis. Thanks a lot for it. About Paget, I would not say that he is not recommended. Surely, he is not as good as Murat, but still. His skills (Strike - Mobility - Assault Art - Economic Expert) are quite focused for cavalry. According to your rating, I would put him as a quite recommended, with Radetzky and Dombrowski. Besides Paget can be useful for warship too (2 stars). What do you think ?

I'll change his rating immediately as soon as I have a computer in front of my nose. Thank you for your suggestion, duke of Auerstädt !

Lannes is not very very strong to be in 1st rank, because he is not pretty focused, if you don't s&l, he is inferior to Washington. Archduke C. has great servivability and fine output. Soult is hybrid, at least he is better than Bagration because the 2 Arts don't usually trigger(it is a game from easytech!). Sulkowski is one of the top cavalry generals in tier-2, better than Ney(Siege Master=Bugle/Strike/Accurate lite) Savary is a decent fort smasher cavalry general who can be compared to Ney. Yermolov is Soult lite, he is better than Jourdan. Berthier is one of the top ranked cavalry general in the whole game after fully regrouped.
Infantry Tactic/Mobility/Ballistics=0.
Cavalry: Strike>Surprise. Artillery: Accurate>Explosive. Infantry: Bugle>Mass Fire>Formation.

You need to attack enemy in defensive fortifications, with evasion. 3. There is hidden evasion in most of the maps. 4. Mass Fire=Snare Drum, what can you use to take place of Bugle?

Mass Fire=Snare Drum, what can you use to take place of Bugle? 1. Evasion is prevalent, but damage is taken all the time 2. You rotate your snare drum between your generals. I find that my cav need the snare drum so much more than inf. So it isn't a 1:1 ratio
