Lots of armor improves your generals hit statistic but what is the benefit of a high hit stat and how does it differ to attack.

Lots of armor improves your generals hit statistic but what is the benefit of a high hit stat and how does it differ to attack. It's used to represent Accuracy of attacks. The reason being that Evasion is represented in numbers, base dmg also represented, dmg multiplier, crit atk chance, etc. as well. If your Hit > enemy evasion, chances of dealing dmg closer to base dmg is higher, probably. So how this may be important is that dmg dealt is calculated using a formula where Hit (meaning Accuracy of atks) & Evasion are crucial terms in the equation.

From what I remember. Your attacks have a chance to completely miss the enemy and deal no damage depending on the enemy evasion stat. The hit stat increases your chance of not missing the enemy when they have a evasion stat.

The hit stat increases your chance of not missing the enemy when they have a must stat. Even with no hit points my generals almost never miss so if the oy impact of hit is accuracy than it is of almost no value to me
