As you might have noticed WW2 has come to the forums.
I made a FAQ for you guys so I hope not only the hardliners will join but also new players!
I do not want to play as a big country because I am new and I will fail at this completely!
That is OK! Countries like Romania and Thailand are vacant! And besides all you can do a request for another country!
Aren't these wars for more experienced players?
Don't fair the last war was my first too! I got the rules pretty quick and look now I am hosting the next!
The rules are so hard
Well they are not, it is basically: In what do I want to specialize my country? Let's say navy. Then I have the choice to improve fighting skill of my ships or build more ships. Battles are done with dices. You just insert 2 dices. In a battle between equally strong armies you have to throw a total of 7 or higher to win. If you have an advantage, this could be for example: homeland defense, better technology, more troops, bigger army, supported by navy, supported by allies etc. the required number of 7 drops, bigger the advantage, lower the required number. This also goes for a disadvantage, bigger the disadvantage, higher number required.
How do I know people won't cheat by re-rolling dices or filling a too low required number.
This is the first war with 2 neutral referees Me and Haelicon. Also you can go to the leader of your side. (Leader Axis is Sherman, Leader Allies is Khurram).
Do I get kicked when I do something wrong?
No, small mistakes are not bad. A small mistake would be: a wrong required number, the wrong format or forgetting historically situation (for example Germany walks over the Maginot Lines). Medium mistakes are making OP moves: Germany overruns France in 1 phase, Poland lands paratroopers in Berlin and take it, the Netherlands conquer Bavaria in their first turn. For those you will get warned, for small ones you will only get corrected. Big mistakes are insulting referees, ignoring warnings, repeating small/medium mistakes. For only big mistakes you can get kicked.
So I am to lazy to read the rules, can you help me?
No, go read them or go away you lazy pig.
Where can I find the rules?
european-war-4.boards.net/thread/846/country-ww2-theoretical-war
What rank/permission do I need to participate?
Sort of none, however there are 3 requirements: 1 You need to have read to rules 2 You have to follow the rules and act normal 3 you have to listen to the referees
Where can I ask more questions?
Here, in this thread!
How to I insert dices?
When you reply you can ''quick reply'' or click on the button reply. then you get a full screen and you will find a ''dice button''
Where can I find all the information I need on this topic??
european-war-4.boards.net/thread/845/ww2-theoretical-war
european-war-4.boards.net/thread/846/country-ww2-theoretical-war
And you can ask me or Haelicon or anyone with knowledge!
When does the war start?
When all main countries are claimed!
Could you add a trollface picture to the post?
