I have noticed that generals in 1939 conquest (recently started again) have extra stars/boosted stats. Konev has 5 star tank and Arnold becomes the best general on the map with 5 star art. Does anybody else know why ET did this and can name other ones with better stats

Halsey in the 1950 conquests also gets 3 or 4 stars in tank, even if he does command a carrier.

They use a separate collection of generals for maps this time and buyable generals are basically only for player

Daily invasion or other Domination battles? Daily invasions. That's natural. The stats of gens in Daily Invasions are altered to suit the difficulty of the invasion & the troop type used. |

I think i also noticed a very weak Rommel in Domination with 2 stars in tank. I once saw a Rundstedt with 2 stars in Infantry and Second Lieutenant rank. |

Actually thats in every single conquest. But the only really noticeable buff is that arnold always has 5 stars in art in every conquest instead of 1. Its not really that big of a difference tho.
Other noteable ones are
Rokossovsky has 4 stars in navy
Konev 5 stars in tank
MacArthur has an extra navy star
Yamashita is also altered in some kind of way. Its a really cool easter egg. But only Arnold is lucky enough to recieve any sort of buff from this

I think it is because the conquests and dominations are made suited for the difficulty levels. Allies are often buffed, to reduce your difficulties. The opposition is sometimes also buffed to make levels more difficult (increased rank, higher level units, better units they command like spawning on heavy tank instead of medium ones.
