How hard is it to create a world conquest app / web game?

I have always been a fan of Easytech (and always will be), and I kinda want to create an app or a web game. I understand it's gonna take months of coding and learning from scratch, but any game is possible to make. If I or someone else were to create a game similar to Easytech's games, then it might take months or even a year of skill. But, games like risk, warlight, or basic turn based strategy games are ones that are good enough for starters. The only coding knowledge I know is how to make an incremental game, so I know it's gonna be hard and long to learn.
