Idk about you, but the next game EW6 is looking really juicey, They are fleshing out diplomacy (Which they experimented in World Conqueror 4 with) and they are bringing back multiplayer! I am so god damn happy right now. Trailer: If you feel the same reply to this or give a like.

I am liking that too but just a bit of a caution: Traditionally on mobile both [diplomacy] features and [multiplayer] have been barebone or set at a minimum because mobile can only support fairly limited and basic functions due to the coding involved.
In other words yes Easytech is going to add these but there are limitations on how it will work so set your expectations low !

I'm liking it. Looks like there will be some new things to learn and deal with (i.e. Diplomacy), and I kind of hope some generals aren't just figurative trash. Glad I recently re-downloaded EW4

I'm infinitely less hopeful I wouldn't be so pessimistic, right now it could go 2 ways. It could be ground breaking for the genre and series, or it could be another glory of generals 2.

I'm referring to the inclusion of diplomacy. It's been so lackluster the past two games. It can't be that hard to let us form actual alliances.

I think that the game will be total domination aka you have to control all. The Alliances are only part-time, kinda like ew5. But for all now we can assume, nothing more.

I dont know of very many (or even any) strategy mobile games with a strong AI to handle smart, fun, in depth and challenging diplomatic interactions in addition to strong strategy and tactics gaming. As far as I am concerned even pc tittles do this either poorly or are fairly restricted, possible exceptions are companies like [Paradox Interactive] who does this fairly well on the pc with series like [Cruisader Kings] .
The thing about diplomacy is that: 1/ it can easily break game balance if not done correctly. 2/ It requires a large number of hours testing during production. 3/It slows down game turns while the AI is calculating possible best diplomatic outcome. 4/ Can end up using more battery life due to additional cpu cycles involved.
Item 3 and 4 are a particular concern in mobile gaming, it literally is a game killer for a large number players.
In other worlds it's highly doubtful the game will support high level diplomatic actions but really it's unreasonable to expect that. Most likely it just gonna be very limited and very basic diplomatic stuff.

In other worlds it's highly doubtful the game will support high level diplomatic actions but really it's unreasonable to expect that. Most likely it just gonna be very limited and very basic diplomatic stuff. The thing about machine learning and AI is that it is hard to make and even harder to implement and teach the AI to actually do stuff and as of that only large companies can afford to make a good AI and even then they choose not to as it takes too much resources, my hope in this region is that companies like HiSilicon(Huawei chipmaker) and Qualcomm/broadcomm would get to make advancements that would push the industry and although Huawei made the first step most companies doesn't even try to take advantage of the NPU as there are only few devices that uses it also another limiting factor is that if you use phone hardware on hard core tasks it will drain your battery, like look at fortnite for mobile for example, if they pushed on graphics and performance and not on battery life and performance they could get all the supported devices to perform on medium graphics 60fps and above, but you would be able to play for 15-20 minutes before it drains battery... Diplomacy in a lot of games is trash as nobody wants to make it too easy or too hard for the player, simply speaking you will see percentage of acceptability of some deals and it will depend on difficulty levels and AI won't analyze if it is good or bad for it as again nobody wants to spend resources on AI in gaming industry as much as they should...
