I still favor HOI4. What I think is really great about it is the mods, the amazing ones like Kaiserreich adds a new world to explore.

Crusader Kings II. They didn't portray Germanic Paganism correctly but the new dlc will have a lot of corrections for that.
I love playing as a raider. Last playthrough I managed to unite Hesse between Kassel and Darmstadt and gained independence from Holy Rome.
