Clinton is free, but gets one or two shot to death, no god. Verhuell is decent in 1798 Netherlands (since his skills are knocked a bit)only for attacking transports, would you buy him, hell no. This Prevost guy stinks and no one should buy him. That said, stop this trolling decieving crap,it ain't funny. This forum is to help, not a joke. Hehe. Yeah for anyone who is taking this forum seriously, do not choose a non aura general unless he or she is lan, sophia, john, or ney.

All forums regarding the really weak and useless gens will have the " don't use this gen because he's too stronk " comment, or a similar comment. Although, some comments don't add a way for the readers to know if they're actually serious or being sarcastic. So, to be sarcastic in the internet, it's great to exaggerate it so it's obvious it's a joke, like " Clinton is so good that he can beat 40 bluchers", or make it obviously a joke, like " Clinton is so strong he can beat 1000 1 hp militias that have the confused debuff." Or do the opposite, like " Clinton is so strong he dies to a militia because he can't contain his own strength." They do get old fast tho, especially the last one.

But if clinton wasn’t free, he wouldn’t be recieving all this attention.

Imagine, for April Fools or something ET actually makes them two op, Clinton and Prevost They'll probably make an event where you finish a conquest as fast as possible using only Clinton, Prevost, Verhuell and Golitsyn. But it would be great if they actually made Clinton and Prevost OP in April fools day.

If you want it to be fun and jokey (is that a word?) join a discord server for EW6. Fun and games would be the better term .

Although, it helps that they show the portrait of the general, so they know the actual strength of the gen. Also, they're green gens , which is also an immediate sign that they're weak, and most of the gens that are joked about are Clinton which are given free. And free gens or units in general are really bad. If it was a Gold gen and we kept joking about him, that can be a problem. But yeah, paraphrasing Nietzsche " Clinton jokes are dead, and we have killed it."

Also, units by themselves are not crap, without them your precious generals would be nothing.

Depends on the player really, if the player looks at stats and skills first, then he'll understand the joke. Otherwise, he won't. I apologize for spreading the Clinton and Verhuell jokes, i got to carried away . Also, i meant most games won't give really strong units at the start of the game, unless it's some sort of pay to win game, which they do to entice players into sinking hours into the game.

You get all units at start. Some are harder to get than others.

Prevost has decent skills but horrendous stats. His low price doesn’t make him special. 2 stars because he’s not completely useless, but he’s not good at all either.

I discovered this game in last february. And the first officier i took was Prevost. Because i wanted to try to buy an officier and he was the cheapest. It was just after the end of the first campaign, "Declaration of Independence". I had only seen the infantry generals in the military academy. Then i discoverered the others one (cavalry, navy, artillery...) and took Sulkowski (medals are hard to obtain and i could'nt wait a long time before i got a better general than him...). And then, i took Gravina, because i wanted an amiral to complete the team. In fact, i made the Dominion campaign after France Eagle, Holly Roman and Overlord. I thought it was too easy. When i finaly did it, i was surprised to obtain Falsen as a free general. So my team was Jourdan, Gates, Falsen, Gravina, Sulkowski, and... Prevost + Clinton. It's certainly not the best way to begin and progress. But i could reach the begining of "Liberation of South America" with this team. Now, it's too hard to continue with some of these generals. So i dismissed Gravina and bought Hoods at half price after "challenge Hood 6". And i will dismiss Prevost and will buy Lannes when i will succeed "challenge Lannes 6".
It was not an orthodox way, but i had lot of fun.
Sorry for my poor english.
