Hi,
Looking at the generals I noticed few things:
1. Generals only have an ability on their own unit. What happens if you deploy the general on a different unit, if this is possible?
2. I haven't seen any momevent stat or what so ever, so do generals have an additional movement, if yes, how is it calculated?

You can place generals in units they are not meant for but you won't get as many bonus from the generals. I think Easytech is moving away from multi role generals for this game. 2. Haven't seen movement so far.

Putting a general on a unit which is not meant for him to command does increase the stats. Every general has a basic attack increase, which increases the attack on every unit it commands, but if you place the general on a unit it is supposed to command, then both damage boosts will be applied. For example if you put Jourdan on cavalry, the damage will be increased by 9%, but if you put him on artillery, the damage will be increased by about 16%. And ofcourse the hp and defense will also be increased by the general. 2. As far as I have seen, generals can't increase the mobility. It can only be done in the tech tree (called training) and with certain technologies in the national technology tree, which you can use in conquests.

I really wish generals could have some sort of movement boost.

I really wish generals could have some sort of movement boost. Fortunately, I don't think that there is any need of that. If terrain is not all mountains, artillery easily moves 3 tiles, infantry 4 and cavalry 5... much better than in EW4 (similar to WC4 actually)

So what? I still would like movement stars, but you do make a point.

We have some troops that have 15 mobility and can neglect terrain I think this is one reason why Easytech doesn’t give mobility points
