Conquest Diplomacy

I am France here. Like WC4 countries will join the war on different turns so not all countries will be in the war at the start. 


Here besides me, only Britian, Holy Roman Empire, and my ally the Netherlands are in the war. All other countries are neutral and will not attack and cannot be attack unless you declare war on them. 


Here our ally Spain is not in the war yet 


Here in the diplomacy screen, the red button with the 2 swords is for declaring war on other countries. The blue button with the paper is to pay resources to either get your ally to join sooner or delay the enemy joining.


Spain will join the war next turn but if I had the resources I could get Spain to join immediately.


The same goes for Italy. They will join the war in 8 turns but with resource payment they will join 2 turns earlier


Here I can give resources to countries that will be against me that are not in the war yet. I can pay Prussia resources for them to join the war 2 turns later.




My ally Netherlands is already in the war and I can give them resources.




At the bottom is Switerland and they are neutral and won't join the war. The only thing we can do with them is to declare war on them if we wish too.
