So I'm at the first campaign of Rise of America and feel that my current team of Dumouriez, Fatimah, Sophia & Kate is too weak.
I also have Isabella & Maria in reserve.
I understand Kate is required (or at least useful) for the next two sets of campaigns so any new recruits will replace Dumy and/or Fati.
I'm thinking of regrouping Fati & trying Maria, and if she's as bad as everyone says then I'll get Golitsyn.
What would you guys do?
Is it too early to bring in Isabella? If I'm keeping Kate who doesn't always get to play Navy then that would be 3 artillery gens which seems a bit unbalanced.
Should I buy some trainers to upgrade Sophia? Is Golitsyn significantly better than Dumy? Are there any better candidates from T2?

Golitsyn is, as they all say, a must-have. Because Dumouriez is a cav trainer, but Golitsyn clearly doesn't need cav training, I would think that you could regroup Dumouriez into Sophia and make her an alternate cav (her having 2 'neutral' abilities'). I'm not an expert though, so you might have to wait for a better answer.

Iron Duke, it depends on how many slots do you want to use. Anyway, if I were you I'd regroup Fatimah on Sophia and then unlock Isabela. At this point of the game I would try to unlock Lan instead of buying Golitsyn

Iron Duke, you activated Kate too early. Regroup Fatima with Sophia and add Isabell. It needs 1cav/2art or 2cav/1art to get Lan & Victoria. Isabelle and Sophia are perfect. Dumo might be enough, Golitsyn better. After regroup Dumo with Isabell. Victoria can replace Kate and Lan occupies the last slot. But be aware, Vic comes with only 3*inf / 4*navy and Lan with 3*cav. So you can only upgrade one or regroup Sophia to Isabelle. it’s a dilemma.

Dumouriez, Isabella, and Sophia are enough to get Lan and Victoria.

Once you get Lan and Victoria, you might have to regroup Dumouriez into someone to fit in all those trainers you'd need. |
