Maxed out generals, so i think if you use them correctly in your starting units it will be good.

Wow I've already given up on this game, European War 6, but then sees this Guide... Wow, just wow, thanks for helping us progress through this game. Uhmm can I ask if there's a thread on Conquests? I followed juljas instructions on playing as Netherlands, and it works, although I still can't win if I play on my own... Can someone give me some advice?? Thanks!!

Can you give me some advice on how to level up generals easily? I'm just repeating missions. And I don't want to purchase anything yet, so is there an easy way?

Netherland 1798 grinding is your ultimate solution. It gives you medals, which you use to upgrade gen's rank. By using gen to finish off the units, your gen earn exp to increase nobility. And golds to increase nobility come from where, again Netherland 1798. Theoretically, if you can spend about 3hrs/day to grind Netherland 1798, after a month you will have a full fed 6 gens line-up.

I like how Easytech did the campaigns. Even though some levels are frustrating, it’s really entertaining to see the Napoleonic Wars and the American Revolution from various different points of view. I also love that each campaign ends with a happy ending for a faction, even if it’s alternate history. You can also sometimes see the personality of the generals. Napoleon shows himself to be megalomaniac, for example. John is no-nonsense and courageous.

We got Netherlands, why waste time skipping,?when it's so easy and fun just to beat it yourself jmho.

Why auto play, there is no fun in that. autoplay because it actually takes less time to complete and it's only fun the first two or three times I find a 40-turn (or less) manual conquest more time-consuming than a 70-turn auto skipfest. and farming is all about real time management to either 1) do as many runs as possible in a given amount of time, or 2) use as little time as possible in a given amount of runs (so that extra time can be used on something else)

Is it possible to beat John VI without a top Infantry general like Masséna? Tried it out with Mahmud+Blucher+Murat. Yes, easily.

Mahmud is not really necessary as John can handle things alone. There's loads of good terrain for him to use during that mission. You could get by with just using Murat too I think, though that would be much harder.
