Hey guys, ever wonder why it’s so hard to beat your foes in conquest? Guess what? it’s rigged! I believe the game nerfs all of the units under your nation by a noticeable extent. For example, if you play as Prussia in 1806, you can see the Russian ship with a commander with the power to deal 110 damages. However, when you play as Russia, you start with 86 damages. This will make your navy considerably weaker than the ottoman navy, which then, they will shell the hell out of your Crimean city when your battleships are down. I am sure this concept is also true for the rest of the units you own.

I think it's just the other nations already have tech upgrades and we don't or have very little tech upgrades since we are still starting the game. Eventually we will get tech upgrades to match the other nations and perhaps surpass them.

best75 is right about that, in 1806 the tech of the ai countries are all upgraded a bit, to make it a little bit more realistic, as the technology improved with every year. This has been shown in every EW and WC game too. But the enemies kinda rigged in their own way. When I played as Spain and was attacking Lisabon, they spawned in an heavy artillery inside the city, while you can only spawn infantry units there. This is similar as in WC3 where Russia spawned a heavy tank in a ship with a lvl 2 factory in Leningrad.

I haven't said it out loud, but in all latest gen ET games the unit spawn in cities is locked only by UI, if you could use code as AI does, you could still spawn anything without limitations

Conquest isn’t so hard for me, I just finished Sweden 1789 in about 60 rounds and got an A Grade. Of course my allies were a huge help.

WC4 was also rigged heavily. It meant you'd have to somehow stretch across the whole world to stop all your sanctioned allies from being demolished by their overpowered enemies.

OOT: Then I will make that my first game conquest, i literally just finished downloading the game from the store and wanted to find an easier conquest to start with To be on topic: Most AI's in strategy mobile gaming have to cheat somewhat to be able to keep up with human players. The artificial bonus they get is so that human players find the games a strong enough challenge. Even on the pc this is very common practice.

It works the same way is WC4 the tech tree is slightly upgraded and they can place units in cities that usally would not be possible EG: In WC4 germany spawns a tier 2 heavy on each city apart from berlin and colonge (which gets a tier 1 with rommel on it)

I guess we just have to keep on upgrading the troop levels..

We complain it's hard now and in a few weeks after we farm and gear up get a decent roster of generals and techs we will then complain that it's way too easy, that there is no challenge anymore, that we finish the game too early and that we need Easytech to patch EW6 and add content that is harder and worthy of our time ! Yeap..been there, done that

But because it is an ET game, it will probably be something like: Japanese forces developed a few overpowered weapons, invaded Russia and America and are on their way to annihilate all European pressence and YOU are the only one that can save the world. Because well, to be honest, that is the only thing that makes sense.

It will be Europe (thin shoreline of the North Africa and middle east included) + both American continents.
