He is arguably worth buying over Napoleon III as his battle ability is higher, and you will most likely never upgrade him to emperor. But Alexander I is the best option for that price range. He isn’t bad though. Probably the 5th or 6th best artillery general in the game! Not a bad choice actually |

What should I upgrade in order? Salvo then plain fighting. Whether or not you want to upgrade his crit skill is up to you. Your next course of action will be to get Alexander to buff him |

If I wanted a city fighter, I would have gotten MacMahon. Also Kutuzov has city fighting, but I do not like Kutuzov whatsoever. |
