I found that the easies three star conquest is Russia and two star is Naples or Prussia. However, still struggling at one star countries. I have Murat as a general and ive tries Italy and Portugal with no success. Any Ideas?

I’ve done literally nothing playing as Sardinia and the war is almost over. France and the ottomans are falling whil I have 3 cities and none of them are my capitol. Is this broken?

Similar to other easy tech games, the ai is very bad at taking cities. My allies leave their city when fortifications are at 0 and things take a bad turn from there  |

I am doing Portugal. Survive guys haha. Just pray French do not come to murder u. I played Portugal 1798 in EW4 before. The positive thing is, you have 1 front. The negative thing is that you have no one to help you. IMO, just try to blitz through Spain & break up into 2 fronts: Mediterranean & Continental. Mediterranean troops sail to Sardinia & Corsica, using these 2 islands to invade Italy then attack the Ottomans. Continental troops shall invade France wellesley - style aka via the Pyrenees with victory after victory. Then push Eastwards. However, if you are bogged down at the start (fighting against Spain), try to spit the battlefield into 3 zones: Northern, Central & Southern. Play defensively at the Central battleground & advance on the other 2 zones. AKA tie down enemies in the Central zone, launch a pincer attack & surround Madrid geographically. |

Blitzing is nonexistent in this game unfortunately. Enemies are so tanky, every single one has upward of 200 health and infantry does no damage to cities if they aren't grenadier. It's a slow slog to conquer countries. |

Off topic: Are you a Windows user? Just curious. On topic: Portugal probably is the best one if you want a safe option, the only enemy is Spain and you have British navy to help you. |
