Finally managed to 3-star this mission and collect that sweet reward! Looks like buying Blucher was a good idea, after all. I recommend spamming rocket artillery in London to kill Hood and the British artillery general.Also Old Guard spam will be useful.I also recommend sending some heavy cavalry and Old Guard and the rocket artillery from earlier to Dublin immediately after you take Birmingham.Some forced march will also be nice.

Also,as soon a second you take the city above Manchester.The enemy will launch a counterattack.Spam Rifleman in that city to prevent it from falling and move your gens to take Glasgow.I recommend not clearing out the counterattack.It will take too long.

I was able to do it in 18 using the free generals, massena and ney. The key to winning this campaign is to use technology and embark and second platoon of troops as soon as one captures Birmingham. The blast ability is essential and to keep Napoleon alive untill one gets Glasgow is of supreme importance.

I beat this 3 stars 3rd attempt with only Massena with an ambulance + 4 free gens. I can make a comprehensive guide if you'd like.
(Note: I didn't just beat that. I'm in British Empire. I'm just saying I beat this with just Massena without max tech.)
