For me Erich von Manstein 's "sickle cut" worked like a clock. Notice the number of enemies I destroyed. It was a very peacefull conquest. Maybe the most peacefull one in my military career

I haven't disbanded my troops though, "Lannes will come" . But besides that I gave all my resources to allies every turn. It was more than enough in the end...

Yeah, tactical approach is less important here. Two basic strategic rules: 1. Let your allies enter into the war as soon as possible. 2. Keep your enemies as long as you can out of the war.

What is the turn You switch to autoplay? Didn't sswitch it at all. It is too long to wait for AI's turns. But I've done nothing exept pressing "End of turn" and "Skip AI's turn" after all countries entered into the war. And from time to time gave my resources to Naples or HRE.

Well looks like we found our farming conquest. My best guess we don't even need to leave Sardinia at all. I took those 3 cities because it was so near at hand... Now I'm doing it without even moving the troops and though denmark was not defeated until the turn 32, the situation is promising enough... Well, a little bit longer but the result is the same

Can it be done with 2 generals and full American tech? You don't need to fight at all. The key is to give your resources at the beginning (and after that when possible) to your allies to enter the war and to your enemies to postpone it. All other things are optional.

Long time no see folks, after beating the first campaign (the american one), I tried the Canadian one, but i found it quite hard, so I decided to try the French one, which resulted way easier. Well, Im sitting on 1,7k medals, and from you guys, I've read that Kutuzov is the best deal and gen for both early and late, so even thought he is the most expensive gen of artillery, Im now aiming for him. I did almost purchased Scharnhorst when i had enough medals and that same thing with Scott later on, but I could hold myself and I know later I will regret it if not. Well, I searched around if you discovered a good way of farming medals, and the Sardinia 1798 was mentioned the most, so after reading through all of this thread (and another 2), I thought I would be fine, but damn, Idk if i was just very unlucky or I messed it up hard at some point, but when you say "day 15-20 you should be able to press auto-play and win already", damn, my scenario is looking not like it. Day 20, and situation is horrendous on most fronts, posting some pictures (I went for the "play defensive, pay to delay enemies, pay to speed allies"), but... Spain crushed British and Portuguese on the Peninsula, Ottomans pushed the Russians and Austrians up, and their force just keeps on growing and growing, Denmark not only well defended itself, but even counterattacked and took some land from above, and France is pushing on Austria from the east that has no troops to defend. The only front that did fine was Naples, after me spending my very limited income on this nation and the HRE... and all of these defeats in every front whilst I had Spain and France (specially the later) hammering my small Sardinia. I lured to my island many ships (most of these still remain) and I have Jourdan (french artillery enemy gen) landed on my island, but every militia I make in hopes to block him from capturing it, gets shot down by the 5 ships that are around my Capital, and I can no longer hold it, as my income is inferior to hiring 1 single militia each turn. I used both gens I got from the USA campaign. Thanks in advance! Edit: watching the video on how to do this... I missed the point of "destroy both of your starting troops", is it so crucial? I thought gathering attention from France and Spain would make my allies win the fight in the other fronts (rather than staying plain useless), but damn, they proved incompetent, maybe just very bad luck? I will get defeated next turn so I wont be able to see the outcome, but for sure, it was a defeat.

It is crucial to disband your troops as it makes the AI ignore you with their land units. Your city has no chance of being captured and all of your money can go towards getting Russia, Prussia, and Naples into the war.
I did not do it this way, I just played normally and won by fighting with the British navy at my side. You can try that. Just don't leave your island until your ally navy gets over there and kills the enemies for you. Since they don't have land units all of those spoils go to you.

I have been able to do it with a bit of a different tactic then just disbanding my units. I put Falsen on the one ship I have, and I fight with only milita, it won’t work sometimes when Napoleon comes after you, but if you move Falsen in his area, you can scare him off. I don’t use any money on anything but Militia and I don’t help my allies. I just hold them off until I can get Corsica. Then I go and take Marseille or Turin. By this point, my allies have Paris and Instabul and it takes about 15 more turns to finish. I have found I can get around 15 turns less with this method then by just disbanding my units and waiting, but this takes more time.
