I think EW6 is a good enough reason for me to come back (though there is a person I don't like to communicate with). I hope Saltin doesn't mind . I need some time to understand this game (installed it today) and I noticed that there are no daily missions anymore. And we can farm all resources (including medals) off-line. Am I right?

Welcome back stoic! This game still has daily missions. They are in challenge mode. The nice thing about the game is you get 3 free generals from the Declaration of Independence campaign. With these generals you can immediately do daily missions and farm the medals while saving for a good general.

In the short time the game has been out I haven't been playing attention to the frequency of the missions. At the very least it's daily. Besides the medal and gold resources there to be a lot of helpful items in the game. The only item you get from daily missions are the flowers which are used to improve princess. Items can be rewards from missions and are available from the shop but I would avoid buying them from the shop and save the resources for upgrades.

What is your first impression of the game? Is it more difficult (or perhaps the opposite) to earn medals (and other resources) in comparison to other ET games?

I quite like the game and it's new ideas. It has brought new change such as the population limit and each unit having a weapon and armor type. In comparison I would say it is easier to earn medals in comparison to other easytech games. Completing the first campaign gets you 3 free generals which you can use from the daily missions and can save up for a good general. I say a player can reasonably save 2000 medals for their first general and get someone good like Kutuzov.

Taking into account that there are only limited number of slots for generals, is it possible to dismiss weak generals later in the game. And is there something like payback price for your generals?

Yes it is possible to dismiss a general. You get back 80% of the medals you paid for them.

Hello stoic, of course I don't mind we were all surprised at the sudden departure so it's good to see you again! If there are any issues let me or any of the staff know and we will try to resolve that if at all possible. I have created a new thread for you so as not to derail the other thread topic. Happy posting, I am sure both Singlemalt and best75 and many others are like me glad to have you back
